Auto Insurance

Damn I been looking up insurance rates for my 4runner and they are damn expensive!!!!!!! I wanted to see what other people are paying and saw a few posts on the forum. You guys got some great rates going!!!!!!!! Even though I am only 20, I saw some other people around the same age with way cheaper insurance than the quotes I been coming up with, but maybe because I live in the bay area in Cali. I've been getting about 1800-4000!!!!!!!!!! annually. So my questions are what company are you currently insured under? What are your coverages? And Whats your age and location? I would like as much feedback as possible. Thanks.

Im 27 and live in the bay area also. I pay $1000 even anually. Check out 21st Century . I saved about $450 just by switching to them with even higher coverage than with my last insurance company.

I am 37 and married and pay 1200 a year for a 2001 turbo VW beetle and a 2001 4runner. Insurance on 4runners does not run cheap. I feel your pain!

I'm 20 also. My insurance is $40/month. That's with State Farm. I have a clean driving record, so that probably helps. I've been driving for over 3 years, so that's another reason why it may be lower. Before I hit the 3 year mark (and befor I got the Runner) I was paying $83/month for my '84 buick century (actually my parents' car).

Well, hope that helps.
Have fun.

I insure three vehicles on the same policy. My Tacoma, the wifes '95 Pathfinder and a mint '85 diesl F350 4x4. I carry 100/300 coverage with full glass coverage, towing, rental, and a $250 deductable on collision. It costs about $1650 anually. I am 29 years old, no tickets or accidents. I will be going down about 5% when I add my homeowners with the same company.

I am 22 and I pay $750 (pretty much all the coverages i can buy)for my 4runner. I am a claims rep for the same insurance company that I have auto insurance with. I would recomend calling for a quote. I have heard our rates are really low, we do not have brokers or agents so that cuts a lot of costs. We only write policies on California or Oregon. go here for a quote.

The '85 should cost around 600-700 a year to insure. muahahhahaha!!

take a leg while you're at it

I'm 20, full coverage on a 94 for 2100/year with State farm. I got a loan to pay for it so the bank required at least 500 deductable. I have the personal injury and uninsured driver, crap like that. Looks like I can hurt up to three people at 100k a pop plus damage 50 grand in property. My rates should drop when I'm 21, then again at 24
