Armour / skid plate suggestions for a 02 tacoma
Hey any suggestions as far as brand/type of armour ? My front stock skid had to " be removed" over the summer when I got myself into an interesting situation. Basically it got ripped off getting out of a rutted trail. Anyhow, need to replace that and wanna do trans, t-case for now. Advice?
Thanx

Budbuilt seems to be the #1 choice. He has several options for the Tacoma's. A guy that I run with has his belly skids for his FJ, and those things take a beating!!!

ArmorCraft skid plate for your Taco.
I had ArmorCraft in San Diego build one for the trucklet. It's killer-duty, and I know they're doing a whole line of skid plates and armor for the Tacos and Tundras soon.
I've pretty much dropped the Rav4 on rocks with the ArmorCraft unit, and it's indestructible. 3/16" plate on a .120-wall tube frame, tied to the unibody. They're worth a call.
Just did a story on the install, but it isn't posted yet. You can see the forward Trucklet Armor in previous trail stories, though.
