arb winch bumper, winch and adjustable coil overs

I have an 02 dbl cab with arb bumper and 9000lb warn winch.I have a set of fabtech/fox adjustable coilover shocks on it.They are adjusted enough to level out the front end back to stock. The problem is they are bottoming out on rough places on paved roads.I checked the air charge and its still at 200psi and they are not leaking oil.I checked with downsouth motorsports thats sells and rebuilds, revalves shocks. He tells me that they are not valved right for the weight of the bumper and winch and that he will revalve and rebuild them for 70 bucks a shock.Dose any body out there with a winch bumper and adjustable coil overs experience this same problem.I just dont want to spend the money and not have it fix the problem.I know there is other brands out there but fox shocks are supposed to be good.I dont want to crank them up further because of the rougher ride.I just want to ride decent.By the way anybody have any dealings with downsouth motor sports, bad or good? Thanks

You may also have springs that are not strong enough for the bumper/winch.

They are rated at 650lbs but that was almost 6years ago when I put them on.I have noticed it swaying going around corners for about a year now.I think the springs are just wore out.It didnt sway like that when they were new.Rather than put new springs on and get them rebuilt I think I will just go with a new set.Now the question is which brand.Looks like the donahoes seem to be the best as far as quality.Maybe the kings come in second and sway away third? If anyone has a heavy winch bumper and winch with adjustable coilovers let me know how you like what you have. How it ridesand if you had to have them revalved. The fox/fabtech I have are now bottoming out on just about every bump in the road.Im going to buy some in the next few days.

I've heard good things about the ToyTec Coilovers.

Call them and they will spec the proper spring to your needs. (bumper, winch, offroad, lift, dbl cab)

I ran DR's without a problem with my ARB. I'd just get new springs and have the valving done, then pick up a set of timbren bumpstops, they work wonders.
