Anyone have experience with the following:

1- would the Budbuilt skidplate fit a 2002 3rd generation 4Runner with an ARB Sahara bumper?

1- Budbuilt skidplate for 2002 3rd Generation 4Runner...does it fit?...bolt on?...no mods? (or do you have to do some mods to get it to fit)

I cannot say for sure but I think it would be fine. The skid bolts to the frame and our 2001/2002 frames are the same as all 3rds except for the very tips of the front frame rails. If you already have the ARB you know what I mean. Bud Builts are made to be a direct bolt on.

Someone on here has one on an 01. Hopefully he will see this. I would call him up though because he will know for sure. There is a thread about a group buy on these that I was thinking about getting in on also. Save some dollars.

BudBuilt skidplate fits just fine with Sahara bumper, and will filt all models up to 2002.

thanks Bratik...thats exactly what i needed to know before purchasing both.

Appreciate the pics as well...did you paint it black or powdercoat? looks damn good new (but I'm sure that didn't last long)
