Anyone know how many grease fittings there are

Anyone know how many grease fittings there are on the drive shafts
of my 1999 Tacoma V6 manual transmission 4X4?

I think there is 7 on the chassis, I'm not sure if that includes the drive shafts or not....check a haynes manual or the toyota manual itself.

If the same as the 4runner - 3(2 and 1) on the front and 5(3 and 2) on the rear.

xcab or reg cab

9 on xcab but not sure on reg cab (7 or 8?)

yes i'm glad it was asked as well, i just picked up a 94 SR5 and the grease points are in the manual, the 2 idler arms in the front suspension have to be propperly lubed as well. If your like me, i'm picky and going fooolish with greasing, electrical and engine checks.......

Buying a grease gun today.... I want my 4Runner to last a long time and i'm giving her the treatment....

haha i was being sarcastic. i guess it was early and i didnt have my coffee yet there are numerous threads like this.
