Anyone here replaced their cigarette lighter?

Mine doesn't work and I tried swapping in a replacement from Autozone. I had the whole thing taken apart, only to find out their are two connectors on the stock lighter. The one I bought at Autozone (supposedly 96+ Toyota compatible) only has one connector. Any idea where to get a replacement that will work? I dread asking what the dealership wants (considering they want $200 for a replacement green LED dash clock).

I'm not sure if this will fit or not. But there is one on ebay for a 2nd gen. If you take the housing off of it then I would imagine you could get it to fit in your housing. It beats paying dealer costs. link

On a side note are you sure the 2nd wire is not just for a light? Which would not be a necessity.

I like to add a always hot one to the pannel right behind the ebrake handle. Nice flat surface thats out of the way.

I bet the reason why yours doesn't work is because the fusible link is blown. Look on the back of your cig lighter, there should be a little brown wire looking thing. its probably burnt. On my 96 I had the same problem, I just replaced the "fuse" with a straight piece of wire and it worked fine after that.
