Anyone have a 2001 window sticker or price list?
I'm pretty close to sealing the deal on a 2001 4Runner SR5... just curious as to what the original MSRP would have been. This vehicle doesn't have a window sticker and I figured that this would be the easiest place to get an idea. It seems to have the following options:
Large painted over fenders
Rear heater
Value Package 3
Rear wind-deflector
color-keyed running boards
Wood trim dash (Definitely a Toyota part, might be accessory? Has a Toyota logo)
RS3200 (or 3000? I forget which was offered in 2001) Alarm system
It does NOT have a sunroof, leather trim package, roof rack, or towing hitch (so it doesn't have the "Convenience package" that many 4Rs had).
If anyone can help out by posting prices for those options as well as the base price for a 2001 4Runner SR5 4WD, it would be much appreciated! Thanks guys... hopefully i'll be rejoining the 4Runner world soon!
EDIT: Adding prices as I find them:
MSRP 28,875
Destination $480
VP3: $1255
RH: $170
Fenders: $230
Deflector:______
Run Board: $649
Wood das: $458
Alarm: $249
Total Estimated 2001 MSRP: 32,366

You should be able to get a good idea of what the price was by going to www.edmunds.com and plugging in all the equipment.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Mine '01 stickered out new @ $34,289. Its pretty much loaded (everything the limited has minus the leather seats) + the real walnut dash kit.
I bought it in Feb. '02 with 12,400 miles on it for $23,900. Thought I made a pretty good buy...

Hi guys,
Thanks for the responses.
Herkengineer, yours is equipped with the Gulf States Toyota port-installed options, so it's hard to compare a lot of them. Gulf States is an independent distributor and that far right hand column on your sticker shows the options that were installed at the port- not the factory. The factory options are the same across the nation, but the port-installed options for Gulf States Toyota, Southeast States Toyota and one other distributor (whose name has slipped my mind) are individually set. Those options aren't available nation-wide, either. Vehicles sold in the Midwest and West are distributed directly by Toyota and thus have fewer options (it's how Gulf States makes a lot of their money)
Hillbilly, would you mind posting the individual option prices? Thanks a ton for looking for me!
I really appreciate this, guys. I know I can go to edmunds and get a rough estimate, but it would be fun to know exactly how much it was originally... if any of you can actually scan your window stickers, that would be awesome! You might want to cross out your VIN.
BTW, it's about $18,500 for a 01 SR5 with 29k and the above options... looks good to me. I haven't seen the truck, but i'm headed out first thing tomorrow to hopefully buy it.
I did come across Steve's original window sticker... and mine from my 00 is somewhere on the Internet or on my home computer. Here's Steve's for comparison...

Found the sticker from my 2000 Limited. I bought it in Dallas, a Gulf States area, so you'll see that it has the far-right additional column. My 4Runner had far fewer port-installed options than a typical one. (I searched specifically for one with few options as most of them were of no interest to me).
I'm looking for the prices just on the left column... again, here's what I am looking for, the individual prices of:
Upgrade pack 3
rear heater
wind deflector
full fender flares
painted running boards
wood dashboard trim
Thanks again guys!

hillbilly: many thanks! I owe you a drink the next time I'm in PA! (Which isn't any time soon, don't get excited )
Looks like my MSRP was about $32,500... I have prices for everything but the rear wind deflector, and that was $150ish on my 2000... probably about the same.
Thanks again! Looks we solved this question... just a simple curiousity. I'm hoping to get it for about 18,500 with ~30k on the clock and 5 months left on the warranty.
