Anyone else have issues with Clear Corners from Burtman?
First off, I'm not slamming Burtman, or the products that he sells!!!!
But I do have a question and a problem with these lenses:

Has anyone else had moisture buildup in them? I've read threads before I ever bought them and few people said they never had issues. But I have serious buildup in both of mine. I've never been off-road or through deep water so that's not the issue. I've checked both and I see no cracks or chips (They are only about 4 months old).
If I take them apart (is that possible) and dry them out (maybe put them in the oven at about 100* to dry them out), is there a better way to seal them so this doesn't return? The rubber "hose" piece in the back is identical to OEM lights so the shape of that isn't an issue (I don't think it would be anyway). I guessing that's there for a bit of air flow to PREVENT moisture...
Any suggestions\options??

Agreed. I've never had any problems with my clear corners from ebay. But, I hear that Jason has very good customer service, so I'd talk to him about it.

Here is how you fix the problem:
Take that aftermarket junk and throw it away. Viola, problem solved!
But since Toyota doesn't make clear lights....you could add a rubber grommet of some sort between the socket and the housing, but Im not sure if that would work. That is where it leaks/gets in, and you can't just silicone that part since it has to be able to turn.

Wow...I never realized how expensive his are. I bought mine off ebay, both bumper and corner lenses for under $30. Had them for almost 2 years and never had a problem

Interesting... I'd definitly take it up with Jason it may be that few a "bad ones" got through quality control. His customer service is generally about as good as it gets he should be able to help.

moisture builds up in my factory ones (because i converted them to my turn signals too, which required enlarging the hole) even a half inch of water when it rains hard but who cares? its dry the next day...

I've had my ebay clear corners and signals for over 4 years and no issues with mine and the best part they cost me $40 shipped.
Even buying ebay and they leak you can fix them for another $5 investment instead of spending $80 in the first place if you are on a budget since you could buy more gas with the money you save.
If it's just a looks mod it's best to seek out a cheaper option since if they do fail it's not like it's catostrophic.
