good question!! I got K&N filter oil. Wondering if I can use it for my Amsoil filter??

OK, ok, I get it. You are asking about he FILTER oil! I would just stick with the Amsoil for the amsoil, and the K&N for the K&N. It would be too big of a risk to "experiment" with this.

I have used both K&N and AMSOIL. The oil itself is a lot thicker in the AMSOIL, so by using the thinner K&N oil you will probably let more debris go through the filter and into your engine.
Stick with the AMSOIL oil.

The Amsoil filter oil is designed specifically for their filters. Use anything else and you will not acheive the design characteristics that you bought the filter for in the first place. I wouldn't experiment at the expense of potential damage because the filter couldn't do it's job.
