any fixes for 3.slow slushbox

Well since ive been driving my yota as my daily driver i was wondering if there are any alternitives to the slushbox. Does B&M make a kit or something? a short shift kit isnt needed just something to tighten up the box.

ahhh ok I sorta had that problem when i first go my truck. If you remove the rubber boot from under the shifter you will see a ball on the end of the shifter and a bolt that locks it in, thats all that was wrong with mine is the bolt just needed tightened up

dont know the part numbers, but there are two things that can be done and it greatly improved the quality of my truck. i believe ya have the r-150 tranny or 151, cant quite remember which went in which, but i switched to redline, which was a negligable difference, but i change the shift bushings, there are two of them, it tightened it up very nicely. im assuming ya have a 5 speed, and not a slushbox, but the bushings improved the shifting nicely, cleaned up a lot of the slop.

in the automotive world, the general jargon is "slushbox" means an automatic transmission

i dont need a trans rebuild thats for sure. Im gonan replace the shifter seat for sure that seems like it could be the problem...

Have any of you used the short shifter kit? Does it change the shifter itself or is it just a shorter shaft? How hard is this to install?
