Another poll - Revtek vs. Fabtech basic coilver

I know the basic coilover kit for fabtech isnt exactly favored amongst most people, but id imagine the kit is equal or or better than the stock front shocks, no? If so, considering that fabtech basic kit and revtek are virtuall the same in price, which would you go with?

The Fabtech won't give you any lift for the rear, only the front, so they're not the same price as they don't accomplish the same thing. However, the Fabtech is an adjustable coilover system, so that is a plus.

I am not a big fan of the Fabtech "basic" kit. It's a sleeve that clamps onto a non-rebuildable shock and that sleeve tends to move around, throwing off alignment and height adjustment.

So, given the choices you offered, I would say "neither". If you go with spacers, go with the Cornfed rather than the Revtek. Better construction and better value. If you want coilovers, save up and get the Fabtech rebuildables, SAWs or Kings.
