I Just finished lifting my 1996 toyota 4runner and thought i would share some pics. I used OME 882, 891 and Heavy duty shocks with inland upper control arms, and a 4crawler 2" BL.

I mounted my 35x12.5 on procomp x-treme alloy wheels.
I still have some pounding to do on the pinch welds, not bad so far?

Looks good, what BS and width are your wheels? Do they rub against the frame while turning at full lock?

The backspacing is 5" and the rims are 17x9. There is no rubbing on the frame due to the 1.25" wheel spacers and upper control arms, however i needed to trim my front bumper a tad along with the pinch welds.

Looks great!! I've never been a big fan of BL, but you can hardly tell on your ride!! Just wondering, how far is your 4runner from ground to fender??

How is the clearance on the rear bumper when the tire is stuffed?

BTW: Looks good. I will not buy a smaller set of tires again.

did you need the wheel spacers and the upper control arms to prevent rubbing? you would be the first to need both to my knowledge. i am waiting to hear this response because i need one or the other and i can't decide which way i want to go, i figured that with spacers that wide it would push the tires out enough to create other rubbing problems.
