Amsoil vs stock filter in schedule cleaning

Hey guyz I have a question?? How often do you have to clean the amsoil filter when compared to the stock filter, I'm just doing daily driving on my taco you know to and from work and some scrambling here and there.

I clean mine about every 3 months, more if I go off-roading. I assume you mean replace the stock filter, not clean it - right?

It should be every 25K miles, but if you do a lot of off-roading or drive in dusty conditions then it should be a lot less.

Well I have a 01 taco and never cleaned or replaced yet !! thats three years all ready, so I guess is how long ...in the matter of years do I have to clean the amsoil filter? Should I expect to clean the amsoil filter every 6 months? compared to the stock filter which I never replaced yet since I bought the truck 3 years ago! oh and thanks for your quick reply

You could probably let the Amsoil go for 1 - 2 years before the vehicle suffered any performance affects. I cant believe you haven't changed the stock filter in 3 years! WOW! Change the puppy for an Amsoil!

I had read 25k for the Amsoil as well.
I have has mine for 15k now in snow, rain, salt, dust and stills flows great.
I might clean it this summer if I get to it.
