Amateur Comp truck lift invention questions

Hello all,

This is not a Toyota question but I知 sure you値l be able to help me.

Some friends and me have bought a truck without papers, only to participate in amateur trial competitions.

It痴 a Lada Niva, not the best truck for competition but for less than 300$...
As it is not street legal, we plan to do all the mods cheap ourselves.
I think I値l be able to put in it my old 4Runner coils, who will be taller than the stock ones.
If them are too short I can get for free some Range Rover coils. I値l also put longer shocks from another truck from yard.

My question is, I know that the control arms and panhard bar will become short, and we値l need to put larger ones for moving the axle to the original position. Must I only fab larger control arms or must I fab larger ones and putting new mounts for them more in front of the truck than before?

As it is an IFS truck we want the best articulation for the rear axle we can get, but always in cheapo知ods, cutting, welding and fabbing ourselves.

If you have some pics of custom rear axle lifts that are easy and cheap to reproduce, please post it.

Thank you very much,

David
