SCORE! I scored a 2nd gen. altimeter off e-bay and it came in today. Right now it's gray so I have to paint it and I'll have to mod the base to make it fit right. I'm so excited I've been trying to get my hands on one of these babies for a while and now I've got one

Well my Dad and I installed my altimeter last night. we took apart the whole dash attempting to make it easier to drill and mount the base, after ripping most of it off we realized that we only needed to move the anti-lock brake thingy . I got some vinal paint from pep-boys (I hate pep-boys but it was close) the cap indicating the color matched my dash great, but when I painted it, it came out too light and looked like crap so I'm just going to paint it black.
