Alpine CDA-9813 with which speaker?

I'm getting the Alpine MP3 player with the big amp 27 watts RMS/60 peak. I need help deciding which speakers to put in a 2000 3rd generation. From all that I have read I can do 6.5's up front and 5.25's in the rear. What would you guys suggest? If possible I would like to mount them behind the door so it looks original. I want to get the most base possible with out adding a sub--somebody borrowed the last one! I'm worried about ordering a speaker that is too deep(want my windows to work)--I won't have time to return them--so I need to get it right from the start. I'm open to all suggestions.

I was thinking of some of the following:

Front
Pioneer TS-A1767 6.5"
Pioneer TS-D170R 6 3/4" 2-Way Speaker
Nakamichi SP-C652 6.5" 2-Way Speakers
Rockford Fosgate comp 6.5" comp FNP2614U
Pioneer TS-C1653 6-1/2" Component Speaker
Alpine SPR-176A 6 1/2" R-Series Component

Rear
Alpine SPR-134A 5-1/4"
Alpine SPS-130A 5 1/4" 2-Way Speakers
Pioneer TS-A1365 5 1/4" 3-Way Speaker
Pioneer TS-A1357 5 1/4" 2-way Speakers

anything would be better than stock. my deck is kicking the SH#$ of the stocks, I'm waiting for it to blow so i have an excuse for another one. If I was to do it, I'd go with the component sytem. Nothing too fancy unless i plan to run seperate amps which I dont. with these stereo stuff, like everything else, it's all about how much you wanna spend and how far you want to go.

i don't think there's any better advice for buying speakers other than: listen to them in person, buy what sounds good to *you.*

each person has different acoustical tastes. i prefer crisp highs, others prefer more pronounced mids.

out of the ones you listed, brand wise, i like the sound of alpines. pioneers tend to have great mids though, but most alpines sound cripser, imho.

i like to shop at local stores, take cd's that i'd listen to in my truck, and hear different combos of front/rears. but just never buy from the local stores 'cuz they'll rip you off most times.

i personally, for my budget, found polks to be nice. i have momo's up front and 2 way's in the rear.

good luck! hope i wasn't too long-winded...

since u got an alpine HU y not get the type R speakers. It's the best one that alpine makes but the downside is it's an extremely tight fit.I got the type S speakers which didn't need any fabricated mounting bracket nor did it need any dremeling for it to fit.No matter which way u go u won't need the aftermarket grille unless u plan on cutting through the factory speaker grille which is mounted in the door.

I like all of your idea's. I think I'm going to go for the Alpine speakers not sure about the Type R up front yet--what do you think? I'm thinking the type "S" becuase of the ease of Installation.

Rear
alpine 5.25 type S--$70 delivered

Front
alpine 6.5 type S--$72 delivered
alpine 6.5 type R componet--$165 delivered
alpine 6.5 type R--$120 delivered

Alpine CDA-9813--$300 delivered

These are the best prices I've found.
