Talking Alignment needed after BJ Spacers??

Hey guys...

I had a super busy weekend.....droped in Downey HD coils, OME shocks on all 4 corners, Ball Joint Spacers from TRD Dallas, and installed the Pro Runner Light Bar, and Aisin Manual Hubs....

Took 6 tries to bleed the brakes, and a close call missing a dog and a small child on the road, but the brakes work....

Im just wondering if i need to go out and get myself a wheel alignment.. i havent driven the truck over 60 yet, but havent noticed any shimy from the wheels at low speed.

Any comments, they would be appreciated.

Cheers
Colin

yup you need an alignment. and where are the pics?!?!?!? but remember to tell them not to put the alignment to factory spec. since its lifted. tell them to get it to track straight and wear as best as they can. it wont be much of a problem for you since you only when up about an inch.

so where are the freakin pics?!?!?!

Yes. You MUST get alignment, your toe is about +1" before alignment after BJ spacers.

KevyWevy, why not to factory specs? Have you experience of this? Tell me more...

thats cause my springs are the stock springs off of a land cruiser. so i have about 3" of lift, instead of your 1"-2"

at least for me, when i got my alignment the first time, the guy came back out and said, well its within factory spec, but barely. this made the top of my wheels stick out a little bit further than the bottom. with the bj spacers and cranking the torsion bars to get the ~3" in the front, it affects the camber. since the bj spacer is in there, the lower a arm will have to be pushed out further for the correct camber. the factory specs don't reflect that.

i hope that made some sense.
