Aisin hubs on Tacomas...
Recently I saw a parked Tacoma of late-nineties vintage that had Aisin manual locking hubs on it. Owner wasn't around so I coundn't inquire : Did 1st gen Tacomas ever come from the factory w/ M.L. hubs? Was it a "rare" option?...I haven't seen many here in SoCal. I'm planning to buy a truck of that vintage and wondering how many I'm likely to come across during my search. Thanks in advance to anyone that knows.-KB-

Actually, quite a few did. Just about all the base 4 cylinder trucks came with manual hubs. But, the V6s all came with ADD. If it was a V6 with manual hubs, chances are it was aftermarket and more than likely Offroad Solutions manual hub kit.

My 99 4wd ex cab 2.7l came with manny hubs...
