airbag sensor location
i just bought a white 1996 2wd 3.4v6 4runner, both airbags went off, this was my cousin's truck he wrecked and i bought salvage title from him. i can get and replace the bags myself pretty inexpensivly but can someone help me with location of sensor or whatever else i will need to replace or better yet, if someone can give the procedure for me to reset sensor or module would be greatly appreciated. seat belts seem to work fine. also how difficult to do windshield myself. i am trying to do these repairs on the cheap for three reasons. 1st im broke and im capeabe machanically just have not performed these type of repairs. 2nd this will be my back-up vehicle to my nice condition green 99 2wd 3.4 4runner so not wanting to spend a ton of cash on the wrecked one. and 3rd this will be a legally registered salvage title vehicle but i would like my primary vehicle to stay nice so basically this will be my trail rig or play around and if it gets a bit hurt i dont mind rig. or if someone can point me in the direction of a thread that has this type of info that would be great. thanks to everyone for any info and for responding to this and other posts as i have used advice given to others on several occasions lurker style so thanks for the help to whomever. brian

But how is your reading comprehension? Spelling isn't your strong point clearly.
You'll need to aquare the Toyota FSM and a Bentley manual, then start reading all about how the airbags/belt pre-tensioners work. You'll need to read a few dozen relevant pages very slowly and very carefully.
