Power Steering Pump Bracket Alingnment
I was looking at my belts yesterday and I noticed something about my [EDIT:power steering pump] bracket.
I had new belts installed almost 1 year ago to the day and I noticed that the bracket has a tail/tab that looks like it should seat in a hole. It looks to me like mine is not installed correctly:
What do you guys think?
Here's a close up with the arrow showing where I think the tab should really be.
Edited for correct component: It's the power steering pump, not the air compressor pump.

Loosen the adjuster, then there's a bolt below where the tab hole is, loosen it and move the bracket to it's proper location, hopefully the bracket isn't bent, if so you'll need to take it out. After the bracket is back in place, re-adjust the belt and your good to go.....

You correct that the tab belongs in the hole. FWIW, that's the power steering pump/belt tensioner, not the a/c. You will most likely have to loosen both bolts/nuts AND back off on the tensioner bolt (that's the diagonal one that disappears to the left in your pic) to get the bracket back where it belongs. Then, of course, retension the p/s belt.
