aftermarket gauges

I have a 2000 tacoma prerunner and I recently installed the nu image reverse indiglo gauges, which ended up looking like crap so dont waste your time or money. Now my fuel and temp gauges dont work. Instead of tearing my dash back apart I am just going to install some aftermarket gauges, probably autometer. I can do the temp gauge but does anyone know how to install an aftermarket fuel gauge?

How did your temp gauge come out? Did you use electrical? How did you wire it up? Did you use a sender or the existing factory sender, if a new sender, where did you tap into the engine?

Presently working on gagues, so any help is appreciated.
