advice for a 180K tacoma?

is it wise to keep investing in her? i have a k&n, throttle body spacer, and am in the middle of putting a no-slip in (not much of an offroader... yet- im moving). basically i like to go fast, and when attempting to install the noslip, i found that one of my side gears has become unremovable from the diff carrier. am i gonna keep finding things like this? this is a huge hassle right now havent driven my baby in a week! (there arent easily available parts in HI, esp a DIFF CARRIER). i appreciate any help!

tyler

ps, planning on new tires and susp if i keep her...
(ome front springs, rs9000's, and pro comp 32 11.50 a/t's)

Tacoma's are incredibly easy to work on and maintain. I speak for others I'm sure, in saying that your tacoma with 180+ is certainly worth putting money into. If you like to go fast, well.....I guess you have the wrong vehicle, but if you want a reliable dd but capable weekend warrior truck then by all means fix what breaks, and in the meantime keep the preventative maintenance up to date.
