adjusting emergency brake/01 Tacoma

Anyone know where I find the adjusting link for the emergency brake on my 2001 exten cab 4x4 Tacoma ? Some of the older one's were right behind the drivers door . The only thing I see that looks like it may be it is a bracket that's on the passenger side of the rear axel houseing of this 01. The cable runs through it and it has a nut on each side of the bracket.I have to go about 30 clicks and the brakes are all new on it. It only moved about 10 clicks when the brakes were replaced 2 month ago.Thank's for any info you may have. Mike

I definitely don't recommend this anymore. I wound up burning up my rear shoes by doing this. The old fashioned way and actually using the e-brake is more effective than this method.

Useing the E brake to adjust the brakes is fine if not over done. I'm adjusting a stretched cable.
