AC belt tensioner/adjustment bolt broke?

Just went to adjust my squeaking AC belt and the adjustment screw broke!!! Belt is still snug but squeaking. Is there a aftermarket bracket/adjustment assembly i can get? Any ideas or is this strictly a Toyota part?? And is this a easy part to change?? Need help. Thanks

Which motor? Check your local boneyard for adjuster assembly.

Drill bit, easy out, new bolt and a 12 pack of your prefered beer. Still cheaper than a new bracket

Is this what you are after from here?

You may need to change your rigs specs.

I still say fix your mistake instead

Even if it wasnt truly a mistake... better to fix than buy parts, no?

If the fix fails, buy parts....

My adjustor bolt broke when replacing the Alternator. I used a propane plumbers torch to heat the stuck bolt and worked out the rusted bolt shaft. Then just replaced it with a new 3 1/2" bolt from Ace Hardware. I think I used a stainless steel bolt and anti-seize.
