About to start the Tundra lift and there's a problem
Yes another pre-lift thread, but I just need some quick advice.
Where can I get 2 new stock top plates? Also, are just the top plates all that you reuse from the original strut/coil assembly? I have new struts, studs w/nuts, and coils.
Long story short: I bought my 4runner used w/ the SAW's already on it. I was going to swap in my new tundra setup this weekend, but when I looked in the box I was given of the original suspension, I couldn't find a top plate. I don't think it was even the total original suspension, it looked like two strut setups but not from a 4runner. So now I need to get 2 top plates to complete my lift. Any help would be much appreciated.

Found the part number, but does anyone have some used top plates that they're not using, maybe you switched to coilovers and don't need them? Thanks!

Go to Advance Auto Parts. They are about $40 a piece.
KYB Strut/Shock Mount
Part Number: SM5184
But a little heads up. The Tundra coils are slightly larger diameter and will not sit quite right in the 4Runner mounts. The Tundra mounts have a slightly larger bolt pattern. So, I just opened up the holes a little bit with a drill till the Tundra mounts fit and used a washer and lock nut on top of the studs. If you still want a cheap way out, I have an old set of 4Runner mounts that I'll let go for cheap.
