About to order tools (need advice)

I'm about to order some tools.
-- I know I want ramps (so I can change oil on my runner, as well as on my wife's Altima). Anything specific I should look for, or are all ramps just ramps?
-- I also want to get a hydraulic floor jack (and maybe jack stands) so I can rotate tires and have the ability to spin drive shaft (makes greasing it much easier). Is this overkill, or is it just right?
-- I need a grease gun. Any special model to look for?
-- How useful is a creeper? I've never used one. There are loads of models to choose from too. Starting from 30 bucks for a simple 36" model.
-- And idea if there's a drill bit that would allow use of standard drill as a 3/8" or 1/2" driver?

Thanks in advance

The jack & stands look good.
I am using a jack I bought back around '90 or so.
I don't even know the tonnage on it, but I will be digging it out tomorrow to hopefully put back on my nice tires & wheels.

The jack stands I'm using are 25 years old or more, and not as beefy looking as the Sear's ones.
That stuff looks very good, and if I ever needed to replace my old stuff, that looks like a good set to use.

A creeper is nice if your driveway is smooth. Makes life a bit easier and keeps your back less dirty. When buying tools you usually get what you pay for. I buy all craftsman stuff and i have never had a problem. Break something and just return it, they get you a new one no questions asked. I bought a cheap grease gun($25 )and i found out you really get what you pay for. I found a professional one at a garage sale which is real nice. I you were close i would give you my cheapie. It works but its not great.
Im not a huge fan of car ramps. Good jack stands are a better investment. And a good floor jack. A 2 or3ton should work fine.
Buy yourself a good trouble light as well.

IMO a jack and jack stand go hand in hand , you don't want to be under a vehicle with out solid support (jack stands). The combination of ramps and stands will make getting the whole rig off the ground much quicker, i.e. drive up on ramps and jack up back end. I use a creeper alot, make moving form place to place easy as long as there are no major cracks on your shop floor. Inspections and grease jobs are a snap with a creeper. Personally i like the pistol grip grease guns one hand to pump and the other can hold tip on zerk.
