A340F transmission issues; bogs at 45mph

Background: 1997 4runner V6 2wd auto with 140,000 miles and it ran perfectly...no problems at all. I then dropped the stock a340e tranny and swapped in a a340f from a 1998 Tacoma V6 auto with 90,000 miles for my 4wd conversion. The first time I had that sucker bolted up, I found out the stator in the torque converter was broken and replaced it with a remanufactured one. Tranny oil has been flushed and replaced with Amsoil about 500 miles ago.

Here is where the problem is, every time I reach exactly 45 miles per hour the rpm will drop approximately 1,000 rpm. Driving locally its not really noticeable, but on the freeway its starting bug me big time. As I enter the freeway say at 20 miles per hour or so, you can feel the tranny shift to the next gear around 30…approaching 45 it feels the tranny upshifts twice, the rpm just plummets from 3,000 to 2,000 bogging it down and then it will pick up speed after and this is with OD off and ECT off.

The other thing is that when I’m stopped on a red light with a slight incline it has a tendency of rolling back whereas the old tranny can stay still without applying the brakes. Funny thing is that everything else seems to run fine, could it be I was given an incorrect torque converter? I’m looking to get this problem resolved as I plan on slapping in the supercharger .
