99 lift question

I have had a 99 4runner limited 4wd for a year and a half now and i plan on lifting it with a 3inch yotatech coilover kit. Do i need to get new shocks all around to install it? Also other than the differential drop is there anything else i need to add and what size tires would be the biggest i could fit? Any help would be great seeing as im new to all this.

no there is nothing else that u need and the stock shocks will b fine but the largest size u should go is a 285/75/16, or if u have 15's just a 33x10.5 i jus lifted my buds 2000 and used that exact kit and we put 285/75/16 xtreem all terrains by procomp they do rub a lil but its bound to happen lol

this forum makes its own c/o's? holy crap!

a coilover is prebuilt with the coil around the shock, so you'll be replacing both at the same time with that purchase, aka good on the front. i would always recommend upgrading the oem shocks whenever altering the suspension, so in the rear yes
