99+ Headlights

So are all teh aftermarket 99+ headlights the same? I heard the ones on eBay and even the ones from Burtman have crappy patterns...is this true?

Just try to find some OEM units from ebay or your junk yard. I wouldn't trust aftermarket headlights.

You're getting way too carried away with all of this. Don't you have some tail lights to paint?

X2
That is how I did my headlight upgrade, I found mine in two different wrecking yards 4 months apart. Complete units for everything you need, light, housing(bucket), mounts, rubber boot and lamp. Be sure to get the lamp rubber boot too as your 96-98 lamp boots will not fit properly I tired and they just will not give you the proper seal.

I got both of my 99+ head lights for less then $50 total. Also, if you find a complete unit and one of the mounting tabs is broken, just see if the yard will sell it to you for a reduced price as you can use your OEM bucket. Even if the only thing there is the glass lense pick it up as everything is a direct swap(except for the rubber boot)! That is what I did as I was able to get both of mine with damaged buckets for $20 each, then I just disassembled the lamps and buckets, installed the 99+ lamps in my OEM buckets and reinstalled them in their locations. REALLY EASY to do! If you have any quesitons, check my write up on the install here: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/9...l-98-a-145621/ And if you still have questions, just ping me and I will be happy to answer them for you! good luck!

Try Herculiner. Not the spray, but the roll-on. You get more even, thicker coats.

Murdurrd Out!

Yeah make sure they are OEM, those aftermarket look-alike OEM have horrible beam patterns!
