98 tacoma i cant find any greasing zerks (nipples)
my truck is a 1998 toyota tacoma 2wd 4 cylinder with 5 speed manual and an extended cab and im getting some clunking noises and i think it just needs some grease and alos when i get up to about 70kph or 40 mph so if anyone has any suggestions on that but back to the greasing i cant find any nipples and i do know what normal nipples look like because i grew up running equipment and seviceing them a little im not what u call mechanical genuis but i do know some stuff and i got underneath my truck and looked everywere so if someone could tell me were they are or are supposed to be i really hope they didnt break of because i have seen that happen but anyways thank u for ur time and i cant wait to hear ur suggestions

They store the "nipples" right next to the periods...geuss you didn't find those either.

what periods? like is that a joke? if not what a periods and i cant find any grease zerks on my u joints or axles or anything my truck is jacked up right now and ive been under it like 30 times looking for nipples gets really annoying being under there im a carpenter not a mechanic lol

im pretty positive you dont need to lube the driveshaft in 2wd vehicles.

are your tires balanced?
If there is vibration under braking, are your rotors warped?

If you don't see the zerks in the general areas of the u-joints, (inside of the joint, on the outside of the joint, there might not be any. I don't know why it would be like that, but it could be true. You might check out www.customtacos.com, they would know more about 2wd's.

no i dont think its braking and i just had 4 brand new tires put on at the begining of winter and all the weights are still on and there isnt any ice in the tires either lol it really sucks mmmmm i wonder if alignment would have gone out by now though?

maybe tierods?
do the easy as pie, chalk test. get a peice of chalk(sidewalk chalk) and draw a line across your tires..then drive straight. If there is chalk missing on one side..you need an alignement.
