98 4runner leakyfuel filter after change

Just replaced it for the second time since owning it. I loosened it and started over again and as soon as I start it, it starts leaking again. Any suggestions?

It doesn't seem like there could be a lot to go wrong, only thing that comes to mind is
cross threaded or not torqued completely.
Did you use a line (flare nut) wrench?

Yes. I used a flare wrench. It looks like it stopped with a bit more torque. Trying to fix a bad miss. My CEL finally came on, and with new cop's already installed as well as plugs/ wires,
I'm leaning towards a bad injector.
