When I turn my ignition to 'on', should my fuel pump run for a few seconds?
Currently it does not do so.
Most car's I've worked on the fuel pump comes up to build up pressure before the engine is started. I'm trying to figure out of this is the normal operation for the 4Runner or if there is a problem.
Of note, it runs fine other then at startup so the fuel pump must be operational.
