Sounds kinda $$$$$. Are you installing this yourself or is that what someone quoted you with the install?

Check out what Mike has to offer here:

If you're interested I'd strongly suggest that you contact him. He may have a discounted price for forum members.

Not sure... I think it's just another option to give you more lift. Couldn't be certain though. Did you check out the TTORA FAQ?

My OME lift only cost 600$, HD springs, and SC shocks. I installed it myself. Fairly easy w/all the writeups and tips on the board. If your spending that much you should just get some SAW's up front and some OME in the rear.....

The OME lifts for the Tacos are more because of the Leaf Springs for the rear. The price he is quoting, I believe, is from Rocky Road Outfitters and it includes shipping. Mike's prices at Xtreme are really good, as well. For $839.92 plus shipping, you can get Sway-A-Way adjustable Coilovers for th front, and Downey Add-A-Leafs and Bilstein 5100 series shocks for the rear. That's probably what I would do for that kind of money.

On my 4Runner I paid around $950 for my complete setup and that was with SAW's which are $650 by themselves.I got all my stuff from Mike at Xtreme. Sounds a bit high if you ask me for that OME setup, but it's probably different with the trucks, I don't know .

Thats about what I payed for my setup. Somewhere around $900. The leaf packs are what are expensive. And no you dont have to go with the greasable shackles, I didn't. Only other thing you really need to get to do the install is the front "rear" leaf spring bushings from toyota. The 881 coils with the leaf packs in the back will leave you a little "butt" high. I dunno if you can remove one of those leaves or not. If your only looking for 2" I would prolly just do an add-a-leaf or longer shackles.

yea i think im going to go with SAW's up front and then blisten 5100 shocks in the rear with the greasable shackels. thats for a lil over 800. not too bad seeing as im getting coilovers ya know.
