I want to change the diff oil front and back transfer case oil and transmission and of course I do usual oil changes...anyways any write up on this or anyone know what type of oil I should use? Also it's prolly time for suspension work more for safety lol what is the usual that needs to be changed? ( Ball joints, tie rods) Thanks a lot guys love yotatech!

Yes dex 3. No one around here sells it anymore though. Just the dex/merc combo stuff. Should take around 3.5 - 4 quarts on a drain and fill. I always measure what comes out using an old coolant bottle and go from there.

Word thanks for the advice the only problem is when I did my tranny cooler I lost some and not sure how much, haha never got back to putting the quart in so now I'm not really sure how much is really suppose to go back in it. Also how much goes into the diffs and transfer case?

Start with 3.5 on the trans, warm it up and check the stick. The diffs are around 2 or so I think. Fill them until it overflows the fill plug. And the transfer 1.5-2 I think. Again, it should just start to overflow the fill plug. All on a level surface of course, and trans should be hot and idling in park.

So wanting to do suspension work. I'm thinking both front and rear stock springs struts and coils any body know exactly what parts I need to change IE buy from Toyota and ones I can save. Also looking at ball joint what kind of parts do I need for that? I would also like to do control arms bushings and rear end bushings pretty much all moving parts. Thanks for the help guys!
