what is diffrent on the 98 and up leaf's,will they fit 95-97? are they just longer wider,can some one shine some light on this ?

Stock 4x4 '86-'95 minitruck leafs are a straight swap and will give ~2" lift.

'98 leafs will fit in front hangers but you will have to relocate rear hangers for correct shackle angles (leafs are longer than the 95-97s). The axle will have correct placement, extra length is in rear of spring. Lift will correspond with mfg. spec.

so it is just the rear shakle's? that would be diff?or could you just buy a shakle kit also to fix that. i was just woundering looks like that would be pretty close,but what do i know,iam going to buy procomp springs for th e rear just curious about the leafs though,and thax for the info.

Also, To answer that question with a bit more tech :

You might be able to get away with the 98+ springs with some long as hell shackles, But youd have a crappy ass shackle angle and your axle would probably be moved either forward or back, thus creating drivetrain problems and not to mention the tires would be in a bad spot for how the rear fenders are cut in the first place, So some would be in order if you actually wheel the thing..

So my advice just get some springs from an older truck..
