95 p/u with new 32's please help!!

alright i just put on some 32-11.50x15 mud rovers on 15x8 3.75 bs rock crawlers..now when i put them on they rubbed while backing up so i put 10 turns on the torsion bars, and now they are still rubbing but only on the bolt that holds the mud flap on..is 10 turns too much or too little..any other suggestions would be good..

thanks

I'd recommend ball joint spacers over t-bar cranking. You may have to get at least a 1" body lift. You could always remove the mud flap and pound in the spot of rubbing with a BFH too.

I'd remove the front mud flaps, my 31's rubbed on the drivers mud flap so I took my front ones off and it looks a lot better.
Got any pics of the new wheels and tires?

ya ditch the mud flaps...you should be able to fit those without cranking your bars that much...try lowering em back down a bit a pounding your pinchweld flat

You didn't crank the torsion bars with the wheels on the ground did you?

Did you get an alignment after adjusting your torsion bars?

The mudflaps make these trucks look awesome. I am against ditching the mudflaps. Especially on 89-95 P/U's.

I say go bodylift over any torsion bar adjustment and over ball joint spacers. Because it will keep the truck relatively level. Once you screw with the suspension in the front (IE either adjusting the torsion bars which makes the ride stiffer and sucks up the little articulation you have, or putting ball joint spacers on which I'm not personally partial to) you have to do something with the suspension in the rear either by getting new/higher riding and/or an extra leaf spring, or longer shackles, or ...??

Mind you if you still have the stock leaf springs you might want to opt for replacements by now. My truck received new leaf springs on top of an extra leaf spring last year and the rear rides a lot higher (well, a lot higher compared to most saggy rear leaf springed 89-95 P/U's). I have the torsion bars in the front cranked down to stock height (they were originally cranked up when I got the truck). Let me say the truck rides a lot more level and the trim to top of the rim measurements are just about equal on all 4 wheels - maybe just slightly higher in the rear (around 13 1/4"). I think these trucks look awesome when the wheel well spaces are equal so the truck appears to ride more level. Sagging rear leaf springs kinda look weak on 89-95 P/U's.

My vote do a 2" bodylift and if the rear is sagging put some new leaf springs in the back, and keep your mudflaps on all 4 wheels

Don't get rid of the mudflaps, but I would advise trimming a few inches off the bottom, I tore mine off on the old pickup while backing up in rocky terrain. The flaps are nice to keep all the crap off the truck.

You can do a little inner fender trimming, ball joint spacers, longer rear spring shackle among other things:
