Happy Holidays everyone..!!!

I don't want to neccesarily put a lift on my truck, yet I need to do something about the rear sag.

I use this as my daily trans to work and back.

I searched the site and it seems to correct the sag I'd have to put a lift on it. I just want it to be level with the front and don't need to get it up any higher than that.

Is there something out there you guys know about I can get..?? Springs or something..??

Hey.

I see a lot of people put Land cruiser coils or heavy duty coils in the back to fix the sag. I've had people recommend air shocks, others lifts.... I think its one of those things where theres more than one way to skin a cat and it just depends on the cost you're looking for, the amount of work, the durability, etc. About the benefits of each, I wouldn't know... just throwing some ideas your way.

For a cheap fix, go daystar coil spacers either 1.5" or 2.5" $80-130 bucks (I think), or do it right and get stiffer springs,-thats what I should've done, but I was in college at the time and just went with the spacers. They work fine, I just went with the smaller spacer and it sits perfectly level. I have also read you can crank your torsion bars although I havn't done that (not exactly sure what to "crank"??)

You can either go with spacers for the rear coils, cheap fix, or buy some new coils from either Downey, OME, or Performance Products. Do a search and you will get all the info you will need.

Most guys go with the Downey HD 1.5" coils. Cost you probably around $150 but it will be done right and will improve your overall ride and handling. No need for longer shocks with this mod but you have to disconnect the old shocks to do the coils so it may be a good time to replace them if you have a lot of miles on them.
