My guess is no simply because it is the transfer case that has the center diff to allow full time 4wd and the last line of their ad states that your old transfer case must be swapped onto the new tranny. Even though the picture seems to show the transfer case perhaps it will be separated or does not work?

This Transmission is not for a 4Runner,Tacoma the transfer case is different. For AWD you need an AWD transfer case.The rear of the transfer case is different and will not fit your 4Runner.
