I think you could clear 35's with that much lift. To go 36's or bigger, you'd probably need to go higher - crank up the torsion bars and add-a-leafs in the back. Without more lift you'll probably rub the tires really bad when you turn.

On IFS?

I would have to be thinking not.

I rub 33's on the idler arm.

Massive fender trimming, little backspacing, rare steering and no wheeling.

It "CAN" be done, but I wouldn't. Any kind of 4WD will kill the cv's. On my '94 PU in the front I am running the 4" Trailmaster with the Rockstomper IFS travel kit, and in the rear 56" long AOR Poly-Eye springs and shackles...combine that with a 2" body lift and I clear 35's on a 15x10 wheel with no problem. No rubbing off road. But I could "fit" 37's...buy the first rock would tear the fenders off. So, if you don't plan on really going off road, sure, 38's could fit with some t-bar cranking and some more help in the rear like an extended shackle.

Here's a pic of my '94....

Good luck!

PS. I used to run 39.5's on my '88 4Runner when it was on IFS way back when....
