'90 model engine problems

I know the 4runners had bad problems with their engines in 1990. I was wondering if the pickups had the same problems.

they did? my 3vze has 267000, and still going strong... *knock on wood*

Yeah, i've heard that that year had head gasket problems and more.

Headgasket problems were all across the board...I've never heard anything wrong with the '90 model engines in particular though.
