7th injector replacement help

Hi
I believe that my 7th inj is bad and I have a new injector (thanks URD)but I am not sure how to get the old injector out of the housing to replace it.
has anyone done this? if so please let me know how to get it out so I can replace it.

V6 3.4 it is only the 7th inj made by TRD it is incased in a aluminum block see the link attached.

Random question...what is the name of the V6 3.4. I always thought it was 5vze, but i noticed that is a straight 6...

Straight 6?? Those are only on land cruisers, cressidas, supras, ect

That pic in the link shows a straight 6...right?

no, i believe thats just the intake plenum... what you are looking at is not the cylinders themselves. The intake gasket would go against that.

just take the screws out of the mount and it should come apart.

There are two allen headed cap screws under the fuel line connection that holds both parts of the injector mount together. Remove those cap screws and you can separate the two parts of the mount and remove the fuel injector.

I just got back. I was there for 2 weeks and while there we decided to open a retail store front in Laguna Hills.

I will be back out there very soon.

Very cool. Throw me a shout next time your out west. If you, or someone you know have time, maybe i'll drive out and have you dial my ride in. It's in need of a good tune since I can never seem to get rid of my low rpm ping. I know in the summer with the 100+ degree heat it pings even worse. And pulling a couple of jet-skiis....forget it. The motor sounds like a sewing machine. Of course....I'm sure you would give me a good price....
