hey yall new at this.i got a 95.5 tacoma 3.4 i think i got a stopped up injector on the 6th cylinder i got spark (new wires and coil paks i have doubled checked and all is firing) could this just be a dirty injector? new timing belt was put on at 111000 miles now has 178000 someone please help. "would have pics but dont know how to upload yet"

Welcome to YT! It is possible for it to be a dirty injector. Check your connector to make sure it is getting contact. Is it a constant miss, or occ. You need a photobucket account (or one similar) to post pics.

A constant miss is easier to find...

How does that plug look compared to the others?

How do you know you have spark from that wire and plug?

Did you get a P0306 and a P0300 code?

Injectors are very very rare on the 5VZ to go bad.....

the plug is clean even traded it with another i took the wire off and checked for spark. its getting plenty lol. im gettin p0306.

Well,then it can either be one of two things..compression/fuel.

You can swap the injectors to see if the miss will move,or put one in there.

Another trick is spraying some carb cleaner into a vacuum hose and seeing if the miss gets better..if it starts to smooth out you have a fuel problem...not too much to foul out the plugs...but hey plugs are cheap.

Compression test..low on just one cylinder is rare,but I guess it could happen.

By the way, what did that old plug out of that cylinder look like? This could point you in the right direction as well....
