4whl low
I have a buddy who has a 2000 4runner. He got alot of snow down in Boulder and went to put it in 4 wheel low to get up his steep driveway and he says it didnt engage. What would cause this problem?

If he has the H-pattern t-case shifter, maybe he didn't get it all the way in. When I went from my Jeep Wrangler to the 4Runner, I had a hard time getting it in my first time. If it's not that, you might want to look at the linkage and see if it's binding up.

Need more info about the rig....... is it an auto or 5 speed? There's too many varibles to guess what is causing the problem.

Hehehe...I had mine going through 3+ Feet the other day. 4lo was amazing. Just make sure he's stopped, in N, and shift from 4hi to 4lo. It will engage. I love CO.
