4 cyl Supercharger????
Now that I've got your attention...lol...Does anyone know of a company that makes a supercharger or turbo kit for a 22RE? I've got an 89 4Runner that I'm looking for some more power....and I thought, maybe there is someone out there that makes a supercharger or a turbo for my 22RE.

22R, but not the RE
I know of a company that makes one for the 22R. It includes a Weber carb, I think. I thought it was LC Engineering, but I'll verify that.

Its not an off the shelf thing, that's someone's homebrewed concoction and it looke like its far from finished. Throttle cable is hanging in mid air and is 8 inches too short. No fuel lines hooked to the fuel pump. The fuel pump is probably too wimpy for it in terms of volume. There is no room for an air cleaner. The blower has a serpentine pulley, not compatable with standard Toyota V belts and pulleys. Its not going anywhere anytime soon. Also, this offers nothing for EFI trucks in 4 or 6 cylinder flavors.
Good luck to this guy. It will probably really haul if he gets everything together.

Looks nuts. That carb looks like a Holley 500 (2bbl)...I had one in my '70 Celica, with a huge cam and gearing, I was lucky to get 10mpg. Lucky for me, there is a supercharger for the 2.7...now if I just had the bones...

So basically what I'm getting is that if I'm going to be able to use a s/c in my 4Runner...I've got to get rid of my EFI and go to a 22R carb'd? Any other options for me do ya think?
