3RZ Timing Cover Question

I need to pull the crank on my 3RZ 2.7L on my 1996 Tacoma. I have the engine out of the truck. Can the timing cover be removed without removing the head or does the head have to come off. Thanks.

Noticed that you are new to Yota Tech, welcome

Do you have a FSM (factory service manual)? Check to see what that specifies. I don't have a Taco so I don't have a specific answer for you so I thought I would give you a bump too, Good luck!

And when you do find out the right way to perform your task, besure to come back to this posting and update it so someonelse that searches for the same issue will find out what you did and saves having to ask it again!
