3rd Generation front end rebuild kits

If was looking for a front end rebuild kit for my 1997 4Runner Limited. I saw a few post and no one could find one and was just buying the pieces individually. I came across this on ebay at a good price. What do you guys think?

Is that an eBay kit? If it is - don't do it. Especially the lower ball joints. I bought a similar kit and had lower ball joint failure less than 10K later. OEM lower ball joints only.

When I re-did the lower ball joints I found the kits tie rod ends were showing signs of wear already too (very loose). Save yourself some time and frustration and do as much OEM as possible. Otherwise I've had good luck with NAPA brand stuff (all but LBJ's).

Pretty sure Texas_Ace had the same problem with the kit too.

+ 1 on the LBJ thing. Google around, there have been more than a few premature failures of aftermarket balljoints. And the failure mode (the ball popping out of the socket) precludes any possible sort of installation error.

An LBJ failure is pretty catastrophic unless you're lucky enough to be going very slowly.
