ive been working on mine for the past 3-4 days and wow it really is a challenge. i have fun doing it but im starting to lose motivation as its getting impossible to aim correctly.

ZKW clear lens (already swapped in)
i also have the TL lens that came with the original
gatling shrouds
TL ballasts
Phillip 85112+ bulbs

Good luck man...that mod isn't easy! I'm hoping Rockslide will retire extra early (I know he'll glance at this post) so I can send him all my parts and he could construct mine for me

I'll try the dremel I was even thinking hacksaw but overall I'm really worried on vibration and messing up the lining if the headlight if that happens I'll have to start all over =.=

I'll keep everyone posted

Shoulda went with the ebay projectors. Reasonable quality, great ouput and cutoff, cheap and super easy to install. I have the "G1" projectors, but right after I bought them, I found much larger ones (G3 projectors) that give a bit more output. I'm satisfied with what I have though. Much better than HIDs in stock housings. The align just like stock, too.

Don't have a pic in front of a wall...

Only issue I forsee is finding replacement bulbs. Socket is for D2S/R, but the mounting ring would interefere with the D2-type plug. Need something with pigtails.

ebay projectors, arent my style. for projectors i had to go with some good ones so i did my research and got what i feel was the best one for me. TL/zkw lens
but yeah ill pos pics in a bit, worked on it last night and finally cut all the screws.
thanks to everyone who said dremel. i got a dremel with ez lock and metal bit i ended up cutting all 8 screws in about 10 minutes.

update as of last night also is that i tried aiming only ONE headlight. and wow it took forever. finally got a good angle, ill get pics dont worry , but the driver side.. like they say if its not one thing.. its the other...
the driver side housing wont go in because the d2s ignitor hits the coolant case.. =.=
i have no idea what to do now. so as of last night thats where im at. ill get a go at it today.
