Taking off the mirror since I'm heading into the body shop. I have the door panel and sail off, took out the 3 bolts but there is another piece holding it on. Anybody done this before, or have a Haynes they could check it out in? I left my manual at school...

2. Remove the mirror-to-door retaining bolts (3 - probably the ones you took off) and, on power mirrors, unplug the electrical connector.
3. Remove the mirror assembly.
4. Installation is reverse of removal.
So whatever is holding it on is probably the electrical connector or a clip.

That was me Bob! Not the harness, there's nothing to that. There are 2 "nubs" that go into holes for alignment, on the mirror that you take off. There's a screw into one of these, from the inside out.... but NO way to get even close to putting a screwdriver on it. It's hard to explain, I might have to snap a pic tomorrow so you don't think I'm completely insane!
