3rd gen front bumper removal

Does anybody have any experiance removing the front bumper on a 3rd gen? I curious how difficult this project will be.

It'll be very easy, actually. Just undoing a few bolts. The bumper weighs next to nothing, so one person can handle it easily. You might need to hit the bolts with some penetrant the night before (I didn't though, they came right off for me).

Its very easy, but don't forget the 2 stupid little bolts up by the wheel well. Took me a few minutes to figure out what the hell was still holding the bumper on..LOL.

...and don't forget to disconnect the blinker lights first as you could rip the wiring right out!

I agree, pretty easy. 4 bolts that are located at the bumper brackets (that are near the frame) Then the 2 other bolts near the wheel well. 30 minutes with getting out your tools and having a beer after!

Just let my ex-wife drive it!
She neatly took the front bumper, left front fender and the door mirror off the car once - without leaving the driveway. Quite a talent.
