Hey guys, well as you can see from the picture, I am in big trouble. Just wondering if anyone has any scrap parts that are just laying around. I am still paying off my truck and then this fire happens, so I am looking to peice up a new interior. I need liner, sun flaps, and the plastic that covers the trunk area for starters. Thanks guys, post if you have anything I you guys don't need that I could use or places where I could order OEM parts cheap. Thanks! Sorry in advance for posting this here, I am not sure where this thread would go.

yea it sucks big time, im just in high school and i have been saving for my yota forEVER and now this happens, i'm pretty bummed, I have to pay for the repairs with my college savings.

How did it happen you ask? Let's just say I am never going to pick up a peice of charcoal for the rest of my life and I will never ever operate with a Webber Portable Camp Grill.

the coals "appeared" to be cool, after 25 minutes of trying to lite the darn thing, I just gave up on the hot dogs, apparently, after looking at the pictures, I guess a few of them snuck by me as I poured the coals back into the bag.

You have a Webber Portable? Ok, well, I'm a bit grumpy, so my advice to you is to get rid of it, but if that is unreasonable, just make sure you check to see if the charcoal is cool before throwing it in the back of your trunk. btw I love your bumper.

I'm sure insurance COULD cover it, but my parents will not let me make the claim. They say that this isn't a "big" enough accident, even though I may not even go to college if I have to pay off the body shop bill by myself.

sayy what??? Instead, they are going to make you spend your college fund on this? I would say this is prettty big, considering the damage. Looks like wires are melted and such. Definately try to persuade your parents in making the claim. A college education is not losing because your truck caught on fire.

Maybe they'll total it out?

College > truck

wow dude, that really sucks. sucks even more that you have to pay for it out of your college savings! atleast you caught it before your whole truck went up in smoke. try yotayard.com and junk yards around your house, you should be able to pick up an interior for around 1-2k. good luck
